New Information:
February 11th a representative will be here from the Lakota tribe to speak to each grade about the culture of the tribe.  

Open House is set for Sunday, February 9th from 1-3 PM. If you have friends or neighbors with school age children, hand them the invitation coming home in Friday folders. We would love to meet them and tell them about all the things Zion has to offer.

No School on Friday, February 14th and Monday, February 17th.

Repeat Information:
Zion administration has decided that we will not allow candy to be given out with valentines. This will help ensure the safety of all our students.

Auction Round Up 2014 Auction Round Up time is here! The Round Up is for 2 weeks, January 27 - February 3rd. During those weeks parents can bring in new items to be donated for the auction (theme baskets, electronics, etc.). Please see form that was sent home in Friday folders.

Jump Rope For Heart: Donation envelopes are coming home in Friday folders today. Our students will get to show off their skills on Feb. 10th at 9:05-10:00. If you are able to help please contact Melinda Steinbacher.

Trivia Night is Saturday, February 8th. Have you signed up for Trivia Night yet? Get a table of 8 together for a night of fun.  If you would like to volunteer instead of take part in the trivia side of things, please let Sharon Wilmes know, they can always use the help.

Grandparents Day is Friday, March 14.  Just as a long distance reminder. It is a noon dismissal day.  Book fair will also take place that day.

Six Flags Reading Log: Remember to fill out your "Read to Succeed" program form that was sent home a few weeks ago. Students must read 360 minutes, forms are due Monday, February 24th.
